Farm Your Bird Tokens

Staking and farming are two of the quintessential mechanisms for any cryptocurrency project to deliver to its community and with Bird it was no different.

What is farming?

Farming is a term that describes providing liquidity for the BIRD-ETH trading pair on Uniswap. Because providing liquidity helps the community and the project, liquidity providers receive a reward for doing so. BIRD's rewards have even been designed from the ground-up with the community in mind. Unlike many other farming protocols, ours is deflationary. This means that the rewards won't produce downward pressure on the token price. We accomplish this by providing farming rewards in the form of stablecoins.

How do I farm BIRD?

It's simple. Once you've acquired Uniswap LP tokens for the BIRD-ETH path, you'll simply stake them using the Bird Farming App.

Step 1: Get LP tokens from Uniswap

Start by visiting the "Pool" section of the Uniswap app for the ETH-BIRD pair here:

You'll then be required to supply both ETH and BIRD to the Uniswap liquidity pool for this pair.

In return, you'll receive tokens that represent the assets you've supplied. These are called "LP Tokens". You'll use these tokens on the Bird farming app and you'll also use them to redeem the original assets you supplied to the Uniswap pool. For a more detailed explanation of liquidity provision, see the Uniswap documentation.

Repeat Steps 1 ~ 5 from previous staking instruction

All steps are the same except you are staking your LP Tokens instead of Bird
